From being a Microbiology Graduate to becoming an Actress - Kate Henshaw

I never thought I’d become an actress. My dream was simple—I just wanted to work in a hospital.

I studied Medical Microbiology at LUTH because I wanted to help doctors find out what makes people sick. I even worked in a hospital in Bauchi for a while. That was my life. That was my plan.

But then life surprised me. I saw an advert for a movie audition—When the Sun Sets. Something in me said, “Go.” I went with no big dreams, no high hopes. And somehow, I got the lead role. Just like that, acting found me.

Since then, everything changed. Acting became my path. I’ve never looked back. But my love for science never left me. It helps me stay healthy, strong, and grounded. That part of me is still very much alive.

Life has its own way of leading you home, even when you take a different road.
