In 2020, when the lockdown hit, I was still in catering school. Classes had stopped, and like everyone else, I was stuck at home with a lot of free time. One day, I decided to put my skills to use and practice one of the things we had learnt in school; making chinchin.
I made a small batch and shared it with my neighbours and my pastor, just to get some feedback. To my surprise, they loved it
The compliments kept coming, and before I knew it, they started asking if they could buy more. That was the moment it clicked, maybe I could turn this into something more.

From there, I started taking orders and even began supplying to a few shops around. What started as a simple lockdown experiment quickly became the beginning of my business journey.
I will share the story in bits so it's not too lengthy, watch out for part 2
